Whether you are extroverted or introverted, have kids or don't, are doing a job you love or not...

Making friends as an adult is hard.

Or at least harder than it seemed on the playground in elementary school.

We all know that while social media connects us in some ways, it can also contribute to an acute sense of disconnect and loneliness.

  • Maybe you’re feeling it more acutely after the tremendous impacts of quarantine.

  • Maybe you’ve longed for many years to have friends who feel like chosen family.

  • Maybe you are simply ready to make new connections.

What I can tell you is that all of us underestimate the power and necessity of interconnectedness.

I’ve put together a workshop to help you reimagine what it means to build community and make friends as the person you are today.

We'll be meeting via Zoom on January 18th from 5 to 8 pm PST.

This workshop will equip you with new insights as well as practical tools to help you grow and enrich your community, through creating healthy, meaningful friendships and connections.

Not just circumstantial friendships but nourishing friendships.

Friendships that are fun and that also make you a better human.

Re-imagine what it means to make new friends as an adult.

Topics we’ll go over...

  • Belonging

The importance of belonging and how to create it.

  • Discernment

How to determine which people are the right people for you.

  • Trust

How to build trust with others (and yourself).

As well as...

  • Overcoming challenges

How to make sense of friendship loss or difficulty.

  • Actionable advice

Real world strategies that foster new connections in meaningful ways.

Financial Accessibility Option: this option is freely available for marginalized people with financial need.

In addition to your current financial situation, I ask that you consider identity-based privilege, relative earning potential, and access to financial support from your family/network. If you have people in your life who could give or lend you the money to pay for this course, please utilize that network rather than the discount codes. Paying the standard rate if you’re able (even on a payment plan) allows me to offer discounts. If you’re not sure if you should utilize this option, contact me at [email protected]

To be clear, I am not offering discounts because I don’t need the income. On the contrary, after the last two years of recovering from complex health complications, I have been working hard to establish financial stability for myself and still have quite a ways to go. I offer accessibility options from a value of solidarity and as a commitment to exploring anti-capitalist practices in my business.

TO PAY A DISCOUNTED RATE: Email us at [email protected] with subject line: "Friends!" This is on an honor system with no application process or other hoops to jump through. Just share one sentence about why you qualify in the email. I ask this to make sure the program is working as intended.
